THE TABLE SETUP
Setting up a spring garden party table is not only fun, but it also allows you to showcase your creativity and hosting skills.
From bright and colorful floral arrangements to charming table settings, there are endless possibilities for creating a stunning display that will delight your guests.
Whether you’re throwing a small gathering of friends or a larger event, a well-designed table can set the tone for an unforgettable experience.
Take a look into how I decorated our Spring Garden Party painting table outside in the garden!
Start by choosing a light and airy tablecloth that will add a cheerful vibe to the occasion, I chose a light blue gingham table cloth that had that perfect spring feeling.
Next, set out some botanical & natural inspired accents, like jute placemats, faux green garland, and small mason jars filled with freshly picked flowers to add color.
Provide every seat with there own paint palette, paint brushes, and a blank terra cotta pot for your guests to embrace their creativity. All of these things can be found at the Dollar Tree or on Amazon!
Purchase a few small flowers or succulents and let everyone pick out there own plant to complete their freshly painted pot.
Making these hand painted pots ended up being a huge hit at our Spring Garden Party! It’s the perfect party favor that everyone will love for years to come.
Not to mention we all got to just sit and enjoy being outside in the garden for a few hours together, laughing, talking, and taking in the beauty of Spring!
THE FOOD SETUP
When it comes to planning the menu for your soiree, it’s important to keep things light, fresh, and full of colorful flavors.
Start by selecting in-season produce such as bright, tender greens, sweet berries, and crisp veggies. Incorporating bright citrus into your dishes will definitely add a zesty pop of flavor that screams springtime.
As for drinks, whip up some fruity spritzers or keep it classic with a bubbly glass of Prosecco.
Whatever you decide, your guests are sure to be impressed with your carefully curated spring garden party menu!

Spring Inspired Charcuterie Board. Pretzel flats, sea salted crackers, gouda & cheddar cheeses, grapes, oranges, strawberries, salami roses, and fresh picked radishes make our Spring Charcuterie Board pop!
Sugar Free Angel Food Cake Parfaits. Sugar-free whipped cream, fresh strawberries, and sugar free angel food cake was the perfect light & fluffy dessert you’d want at a Spring party. We used our stemless wineglasses so you can see the delicious layers!
Dirt & Worms cupcakes. Store bought cupcakes, crushed Oreos, and gummy worms in small terra cotta pots were tasty and nostalgic.
Homemade Spinach Artichoke Dip. Fresh spinach and artichoke hearts made this spinach dip sing! Kept in adorable mini ceramic pots with lids and paired with warmed tortilla chips this was the perfect appetizer.
I used this Spinach & Artichoke dip recipe from Midwest Foodie Blog and it came out perfect!
Sandwich bar. Deli turkey, roast beef, pickles, spring mix, and fresh baked French bread was the perfect quick & easy lunch for everyone. Display in a cute galvanized three tiered tray for that country Spring vibe!
Clementine Spritzers. Mason jars garnished with cara cara orange & lemon slices was the perfect look for our Izze Clementine spritzers. Add a shot of silver tequila to make your drink a bit more lively!
What a wonderful garden party we had!
With a bit of careful planning, and a few well-thought out ideas, it really was possible to create an amazing garden party.
Not only did everyone have a great time, but we got to enjoy the wonderful serenity of the garden for hours.
I think this experience definitely proved that you don’t need to spend too much money to make any event special.
All it takes is a willingness to make the most of what you already have and be creative with your ideas.
Hopefully this has inspired you to create your own get-togethers; the possibilities are endless.
Happy Decluttering!
