People often have a hard time organizing their baking supplies in the cupboards.

This is because there are so many different items and they can’t be stored together.

There are some great tips for how to organize a baking cupboard below, including using clear containers, stacking similar items together, and storing things on shelves or hooks instead of in cabinets.

Give these ideas a try and see if you notice an improvement!

The sort of baker you are will ultimately impact how you arrange a specialized cabinet or drawers for your baking materials.

Check out these tips that you might find useful based on what type of baker you are.

Rarely bake?

  • Use stackable air-tight containers for your dry good essentials and don’t forget to label.
  • Add hooks to the inside of the cabinet to hang measuring cups & spoons.

Bake a lot?

  • Use drawer dividers to keep small baking items organized, like piping bags & tips.
  • Store cookware like sheet pans, muffin tins, and cake pans on easy access drawer sliders inside cupboard drawers.

Professional Baker?

  • Use small matching containers for sprinkles and other small decorations.
  • Tiered risers can be a great way to store dozens of cooking spices and small jars of sprinkles.
  • Add large containers of dry ingredients inside deep drawers with scoops for easy access baking.
  • Use containers to sort and organize cookie cutters, mixer tools, cupcake liners, and more.
