You know it’s time to organize your pots & pans, when you’d rather order takeout then try to find your 10″ skillet in the cluttered chaos that is your pots & Pan’s cupboard!

It’s funny how we use these pots and pans almost everyday yet we never think to create a functional organizing solution for them.

Instead we are programed to find the largest cupboard closest to the floor, stack them all in there, and deal with the disaster that is our pots & pans.

What are the best ways to organize pots & pans?

If you can, use the pantry. Take a shelf in the pantry at a comfortable level and use that space to organize your pots & pans.
Organize lids separate. Bins, command hooks, magazine racks, and plate dividers all work great for storing and organizing lids.
Stop stacking. It’s easy and it may be a habit that you stack your pots and pans into each other, but it just doesn’t work. Switch to a vertical or horizontal divider that will place some separation between them all and will be easier to maintain.
Hang them! If you have nice pots or pans then hang them in plain sight on curtain rods against walls, on a rail on the end of a kitchen cabinet, or on a traditional pot rack.
