Inside, things take a neutral yet witchy twist, offering a cozy haven perfect for Halloween movie nights and murder mystery dinner parties.
And the crowning achievement? A meticulously crafted, four-tiered Halloween village that took us two whole weeks to complete! From eerie graveyards to a Halloween carnival, each miniature scene adds a touch of enchantment to our home.

ABOVE THE KITCHEN CABINETS
Above our kitchen cabinets, we’ve crafted a magical mix of fall and Halloween decor that adds a festive touch without overwhelming the space.
Picture bubbling cauldrons and watchful crows perched on top of pumpkins and faux fall picks, setting a mystical scene.
Charming pumpkins and orange fairy lights cast a warm, inviting glow.
This “fall-o-ween blend” perfectly captures both seasons, making our kitchen a cozy yet eerie spot for the holidays!
THE DINING ROOM
Stepping into our dining room this Halloween feels like entering a spooky, haunted garden where the eerie meets the enchanting.
Picture mossy table runners that bring the outdoors in, decorated with poison frogs, Venus flytraps, moss covered skulls, and black butterflies and moths fluttering about.
And just when you think you’ve seen it all, DIY mini skeleton fairies make their appearance, in the centerpiece & trees.
We used neutral creepy cloth to tie everything together including our floating picture ledge!
THE HALLWAY
Transforming our hallway into a Halloween haven was like casting a spell!
We blended “fall-o-ween” charm with a touch of witchy apothecary magic to create a space that feels festive yet inviting.
By keeping the decor neutral, we avoided overwhelming the area. Think neutral creepy cloth and garlands of pale fall leaves—they were absolute lifesavers!
The result? An enchanting hallway that’s perfectly eerie without sacrificing style. It’s spooky season at its best!
HALLOWEEN VILLAGE
This was our first year creating a Halloween village, and it turned out to be a spooktacular success!
We started at the top with some spring birdhouses we snagged on sale from Hobby Lobby, giving them a spooky makeover by painting them black and adding lights, bats, scones, moss, and dried pampas.
This set the eerie scene for our Halloween Town.
The second tier transformed into a lively carnival, thanks to some adorable finds from the Target Dollar Spot section.
Just below, our setup transitioned into a charming pumpkin patch leading into the dense woods.
Finally, the bottom tier culminated in a spooky haunted graveyard that added the perfect touch of chills.
Almost everything was DIY’d, and we had so much fun crafting each element.
We can’t wait to add even more spine-tingling details next Halloween!
BACKYARD
Halloween is our favorite holiday, so this year we decided to bring the spooky spirit to our backyard, where we spend most of our time.
We went all out with solar-powered lights, ensuring every corner had some sort of eerie illumination without the hassle of plugging anything in.
And what’s Halloween without some whimsical touches? Our poolside waterfall now features a skeleton mermaid lounging with a crocodile companion, creating a hauntingly delightful scene that brings our spooky oasis to life
FRONT PORCH
Stepping through our Halloween manor gates this year feels like entering a haunted house!
We’ve transformed our entryway and front porch into an enchanting mix of our favorite spooky elements.
As you walk in, you’ll be greeted by the iconic stretching portraits from the Haunted Mansion, then welcomed by our handmade “Never Trust the Living” sign inspired by Beetlejuice.
It’s no wonder this setup has become a neighborhood favorite!
And just when you think you’ve seen it all, half of those rotting jack-o-lanterns from The Home Depot start talking when you least expect it, adding an extra layer of surprise and screams!
FRONT YARD
Transforming our front yard into a Halloween wonderland is our favorite tradition, and this year we’ve outdone ourselves!
Our moving lights create an eerie but enchanting atmosphere, with color-changing spotlights illuminating every corner.
The real showstoppers are our “Doom Buggy” from the Haunted Mansion ride and the towering 12-foot Sandworm from Beetlejuice.
These inflatables bring a playful yet spooky vibe to our display, making it the talk of the neighborhood. It’s not just decoration; it’s an experience that brings joy and excitement to all who pass by!
Halloween at our house is a spooktacular affair, and we hope you loved our haunted decor as much as we do!
Our eerie setup has been years in the making, with each piece carefully curated to create the perfect blend of creepy and charming.
Many of our decorations are DIY projects that I poured my heart into, adding a personal touch to our haunted haven.
For those looking to start or expand their Halloween collection, I highly recommend checking out The Home Depot, Lowe’s, HomeGoods, Target, Amazon, Dollar Tree, Big Lots, and Michaels.
These stores have been my go-to sources for finding unique and affordable items that bring our Halloween vision to life.
Happy haunting and happy decorating!
