What is the best way to decorate a Christmas tree?

Choose the right tree. Real, artificial, flocked, dark green, light green, thin or thick.
Choose the right lights. White lights, colored lights, large bulbs, or rice lights,
Add garland. Ribbon, burlap, wooden beads, felt balls, or plastic beads.
Add largest ornaments first. Create imaginary sections in your tree to evenly distribute ornaments for balance.
Add 4-5 small ornaments around each large one. Fill blank spaces while maintaining symmetry.
Add fillers. Picks, bows, and dried fruit, all help fill in dead spots with something unexpected.
Topper. Angel, star, bow, bare.
Bottom. Traditional skirt, pompom skirt, plaid blanket, crate, wood box, galvanized ring, or wicker collar.
